Where I Started
Two lives at once.
I'm Mike Meiers — Emmy Award-winning composer/producer and founder of Songwriting For Guitar. For years I taught guitar and piano by day while chasing TV and film work by night.
And even though I loved teaching, I realized my energy and time were going into building someone else's dream and someone else's business — not my own.
It planted a question I couldn't ignore: Why not me?
What I Learned
